That would be Cruz. And that would be a yes.

Good thing there are Trumpies like you to explain to the rest of us how "deep and comprehensive" all his empty, childish blather really is.
Well, apparently you need a lot to be explained to you, since you missed out on Trump's plan to:

Secure the border, finish the fencing already funded by Congress, institute mandatory e-Verify, institute visa entry-exit tracking, and vet Muslim immigrants so that we don't have more terrorists like Tashfeen Malik being let into the country.

Renegotiate our trade deals so that they benefit American workers instead of a tiny cabal of the corporate elite and their political and journalistic lapdogs who are willing to turn America into a Third World hell hole with a few very rich people and masses of poor people.

Take care of veterans and reject Republican plans to gut social security and Medicare in order to balance the budget on the backs of old people.

Cut government waste, fraud and abuse, use his executive powers to eliminate the heavy regulatory burden on American businesses, and advocate cutting corporate taxes to stimulate growth in the economy, which in turn will increase government tax revenues and eventually allow us to pay down our $19 trillion national debt.

Sounds good to me.

But Trump's opponents don't like any of that. They want more criminal illegal aliens to come here and commit murder (e.g., of Kate Steinle and the Bologna family in San Francisco.) They want unvetted Muslims to come here so that we can have more terrorist attacks against Americans. They want our jobs to continue to disappear overseas. They want a continuing flood of cheap immigrant labor to undercut American wages and keep Americans unemployed and on welfare. They want wasteful government spending to continue, and more and more regulations and taxes to be piled on businesses. They want our economy to shrink while our debt grows. They want America to become a Third World country governed by an unaccountable elite.

When it comes to unfavorables, no one comes close to Trump. He's in a class all his own when it comes to being disliked.
Half of the population dislikes Obama, and even more dislike Hillary. There is not that much of a difference between their approval ratings and Trump's.

If so many people hate Hillary, why does she have more votes than Trump? She's got at least a million more votes than he has.

Just because a lot of people don't think trump is the right person to be president doesn't mean that they want similar things that are in the US's interests. It doesn't mean they want what you think they want in your post above.

It simply means that they feel trump is not the right person to be president.

Famous last words.

They'll vote for him when they see the alternative.

That's nice, but Kasich has only won one state so far.

You might as well vote for Mickey Mouse.

70% of women find men in general offensive.
Bill Clinton DID have the majority in his primary - a requirement. It is also a REQUIREMENT in the GOP primary to have a majority of the delegates. With 17 candidates whittled down to 3, one should expect that it may need to go to 2nd+ round voting, this is another glaring failure on the Trump campaign. They have not prepared for the later rounds...Trump until recently didn't even realize this was a thing, meanwhile Cruz and Kasich have been preparing to get a majority of delegates in the later rounds.

It is foolish to ignore polls and their general accuracy. It is even more foolish for Trump to dismiss the attitudes of voters by continuing to make offensive tweets and statements after he has seen what it has done to his popularity - especially since he has a track record of talking about the importance of such polls.

Which means that they want this country to be screwed over.

That's what they're going to get if Trump isn't president.

I wasn't talking about the primary.

Bill Clinton won the presidency without having a majority of votes.

All he had was the largest number of votes.

If that is okay, then what is wrong with Trump getting the Republican nomination when he has more votes than anyone else?

Why should someone with fewer votes or no votes get the nomination?

No good reason that I can see.

No, it isn't.

The rules can be changed a week before the convention.

It is true that Trump isn't a polished politician.

He didn't even become a politician until ten months ago.

I guess you'd rather go with the professional manipulators who couldn't care less about the voters and what they want.

Well, if the Republican Party goes down that path, it will be finished as a party.

And really, who cares?

It has proven its uselessness for the last 30 years.

Good riddance.

Feel free to tell me about an offensive tweet that Trump has made in the last week.
