Trump sucked the life out of the other candidates except for Cruz -- who he tried to be chummy with early on the race(Trump thinks Kasich is not worth the effort). Everyone is focused on Trump but if they paid any attantion to Cruz they would be equally disgusted. In a Trump presidency, the most important thing will be his advisors and vice-president since he has no notion of right or wrong or policy or the constitution. It would be a corporate presidency until Trump gets bored and quits. Since Cruz listens to God (and a few thugs) he won't be needing advisors or the constitution....he has a ouija board in his brain.

Do you really need that explained to you? Ok...because Trump was the only one who had his own lane. Kasich was fighting Bush and Rubio for establishment votes and Cruz was fighting Carson and also Rubio for the conservative vote. Trump wasn't fighting anyone for votes and with the others taking from each other, he could rip off wins with only 25% of the vote.

They were also completely unknown by the majority of Americans. There's absolutely no way those favorables would have stayed the same had they won the nomination.

Trump on the other hand, was a celebrity even before announcing his candidacy. The majority of Americans already know who he is, and they largely despise him.

Mike Huckabee was well known before this. He ran for prez before, even. He got nowhere because nobody liked him or were favorable towards his policies. Carson... his own incompetence with politics doomed him to fail.

Donald Trump shuffles campaign as poll shows 7 out of 10 don

according to your poll, Rafael Cruz is 10% below Trump in negatives and the media and Democrats haven't started attacking him like they have done Trump........that shows you Cruz is weak.

Cruz has the GOP establishment on his side attacking Trump, the conservative talk radio on his side, Super Pacs spending over 100 million dollars attacking Trump, the liberal media going after Trump and still Cruz can't get get above 28% of the votes in the primary...sad!

Not surprised. He can't even garner more than 30% of his own party's vote.

Let's not get carried away. It would take a miracle to make Palin look like a genius, although she does actually have more experience governing than Trump, being an experienced mayor and half-term governor and all.

True, but he for sure makes her sound competent
