I voted for Obama for none of the reasons that the OP stated. I think there are many who could say the same. THAT'S why Obama is doing well.

BLACK PRIDE
Im sorry but this is alot of b.s. with that statement. His mother is a white woman from kansas so obama is half white. So what black pride are you reffering to exactly.

Clarence Thomas could run for president right now. And he wouldn't get over 5% of the black vote. But yet he has twice as much black blood as obama does.

Maddy,
I agree with you. Just yesterday, I responded in support of a letter to the editor favoring Hillary in our local newspaper. My comments were based on the experience of the candidate. IMMEDIATELY, an Obama supporter online wrote that I'm "a soccer mom with a white sheet and hood" in the trunk of my car! In other words, he was calling me a Klan member because I don't support Obama!

It's flat-out ridiculous. Is THAT the sort of thing we want for this country? I certainly hope not.

Awww, the Hillary crew is getting so desperate.

Now I see why all the uneducated lower-class and uncouth plebians flock to Hillary. Ignorance.

The original message has to be the dumbest thing I've read in my life.

What would happen if Obama became pres. and say, congress and most of the American public wasn't happy with his radical ideas and began disagreeing with him. I'm afraid many will pull out the race card. Can we say, ACLU, anyone? Al Sharpton and Jessy Jackson would have a field day!

I hope you didn't respond. People like that have no clue what a democracy is.

Indeed. What's scary is that the pastor of the church Obama attends, a man whom Obama calls his mentor, honored Louis Farrakhan as an outstanding African-American. Apparently, Farrakhan made the cover of the church's magazine. Obama has distanced himself from Farrakhan, but if his personal advisors admire the man and participate in this sort of divisiveness, how could Obama not agree with some of it? If he didn't, he wouldn't be attending that particular church.

If my church honored David Duke, I'd be out of there like a shot. I'd be horribly ashamed that a "Christian" church in the 21st Century could contribute to hatred and divisiveness. But Obama has not distanced himself from this group. People really need to wise up.

I am so sick of comments like this. Granted, I didn't like the original posting either, but there's no need for this kind of hatred. Obama is supposed to represent hope and change, while his supporters are all over the Internet viciously attacking anyone who says they support Clinton. Your categorization of Clinton's supporters as "uneducated lower-class and uncouth plebians" is rude, ignorant and despicable. Great way to unite the country.

Yeah, and another thing is that you'll hear people say that his church is about looking to Africa first and the US second. Sounds a little bit scary to me. I'm all for finding your heritage, but to pledge allegiance to the continent of Africa, or any other country, continent is stretching it a little.

The OP categorized Obama's supporters as black, ghetto voters who wouldn't vote for a black woman because they are all scared of us being more successful. What's the diff?
