This is the prevailing explanation for why Trump has support. I'm gonna debunk that in this post. First of all, NAFTA fear mongering isn't new. Nader and other left-wing purists were on their anti-trade tirade going back to the 90s. John Edwards had the "Two Americas" meme for his campaign back in 2004. Republican voters laughed at him. Occupy Wall Street made inequality its theme, but I didn't see so much support coming from the right.
And look, Trump gets overwhelming support from high income Americans.
Face the facts. Trump appeals to a cultural base that's concerned about the demographic transformation of this country. Not to ignore the fact that he has a personality that make admirers feel secure.
Stop the nonsense about working class neglect because if that were true, you would see tons of voters move over to the Democratic or Green party.
The sad fact for Leftists and the X-Republican Anti-Trumpers is that Teump has support from Rich, Poor, Men, Women, Educated, Uneducated and Monorites that the Political Elite have ignored for years.
The FED-UP crowd is finally had enough. Trump "gets" it and is speaking for them.
There is a big run on Cheetos and Sour Grapes all across the Nation.

Trump has won his nomination because the middle class has moved to him.
Hillary is still trying to win against a 75 year old communist because she has no support beyond those who think that only ones supporting Trump are old White males.
