So, who could the alternative be????

And, Walker said he had to cancel a meeting with trump earlier this week 'because of tropical storm Colin"... yeah, sure!

"Amid this agitation for a Trump alternative, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker’s name has been increasingly mentioned as a possible replacement. Walker was an early frontrunner in the GOP primary, but he suspended his campaign last summer in the face of sagging fundraising and poll numbers.
Walker previously said he would ultimately support the GOP nominee. But on Tuesday, Walker backed away from supporting Trump, pointedly saying, “He’s not yet the nominee.”"

Absolutely YES!!!

Unlike the other candidates, Walker dropped out before the first vote was cast, so no one can really say that he was rejected by the voters. He has a kind of unique attribute in that way. The Republican party is on a suicide mission right now. They need to do something to change coarse. Yes, they may lose by ousting Trump, but they are going to lose with him too, so let's at least lose with a man who has principles and can articulate a Conservative message.

Walker/Kasich 2016!!!

I wonder if the likelihood of a Walker coup is why Clinton and Obama are going to Wisconsin first.

He may have already. Too many low-info voters out there who will condemn an entire party for the rest of their lives because one idiotic billionaire hijacked it in 2016... First impressions last forever.

Walker is too soft to withstand the death and rape threats from Trump supporters . . . . just go ask David French.

I hate Walker. He's a dumb, anti labor Reagan cultist. He's who I thought would win initially though. I even started a thread about it. He was the only candidate who could credibly appeal to both the cons/conned and the established. He would have been a decent unity candidate. It's too late for that though. Teajadists have morphed into **********s. Only King Don will do. Meanwhile, three weeks into Dizzy's fraudulent campaign and the smarter members of the GOP are already seeing the writing on the wall. Trump is an existential threat. With him on the ticket, this election is done. That battle is already lost. This is about the future of the party beyond 2016.

Which is bleak no matter what. If Hillary appoints 3 or 4 more liberal justices to the court to serve for a generation, and legalizes 12,000,000 immigrants a.k.a. reliably democratic voters, the Republican party, and the country itself, will be irreparably harmed. There'll likely never be another Republican president ever elected.

Just my theory.
