I can't understand how the president can endorse a candidate that is under criminal investigation, this is completely unprecedented.

Especially since he is the head of the Executive Branch and will make the ultimate decision whether or not to listen to the FBI's conclusions or drop it... Its like me being in charge of deciding if my son will be charged with a crime or let off with me slapping him on the wrist.. so stupid. Well we have become a country of very divided, biased and ignorant people.

IF we're to assume every investigation results in charges, a trial, and conviction, I guess we should also be assuming all the suits brought against Trump will result in findings against him, right?

Nobody is saying that. However, not everyone gets investigated for criminal actions while holding a top government position.. It would be wise to wait until it is determined she did not do anything criminal before endorsing. Especially because he will be making the final decision whether or not to charge her. That's a conflict of interest.
Trumps suits are civil suits not CRIMINAL. I can sue anyone I want if I want to pay the filing fees.. the FBI does not investigate every Tom, Dick and Harry...

Well, you have already decided that Trump is wrong, and the ruling will go against him. You know what, you can do that as long as Trump gets a fair trial (doubtful with the judge in that case). People can think whatever they want, but everyone is innocent until proven guilty (including Hillary).

The problem with Hillary's situation is that there is smoking gun evidence that she committed espionage, so a failure to present this to a grand jury could only happen because of a refusal to do so by the DOJ.

There is no question, Hillary committed espionage, for the president to endorse such a candidate is unimaginable in a in a society where justice is supposed to be blind.

The president should never have made an endorsement, or have given any public statements regarding the email/server investigation.

Don't people get it by now? It's a criminal investigation but Hillary Clinton is not the target.
