People like McConnell are on Trump's side. When you have friends like McConnell, who needs enemies?

Trump is like the half drunk guy at the bar with thousands of ideas, none feasible. Or like the old-timer in the barber's chair spewing out how crappy the country is.

Let the Presidential Debates begin where the guy will be embarrassed in front of the nation. They'll see him try to evade questions with insults, offensive immature remarks, but in the end, he will be exposed as the fraud candidate that he really is.
Trump knows the issues better than McConnell, illegal immigration, tax burdens, unfair trade , and creating jobs..

What has McConnell done on these issues? He never addressed them at all.

Poor Buc. You've got nothing but recycled old news. Now you're just beating a dead horse. Go take a walk on the beach, it will do you good

Does this bag of sand knows that he's part of the problem?

^^^^Exactly! He never had the courage to stand up to Obama. On top of that, he is in the pockets of his mega-rich donors and we all know that the donors come first. I'm sure McConnell is relieved because the money he's getting from those donors gives him the perfect excuse to not do his job. Time for him and all those on both sides of the aisle who are putting their donors first to pack their bags and go.

Been trying to tell you for a year. Trump is the result of Republican failure to do the will of the conservative voter.

If he had done his job Trump never wins. The more the likes of McConnell runs his mouth, the stronger Trump will get.

I'd almost wonder if that wasn't the plan if I didn't think McConnell wasn't bright enough to pull something like that off.
You don't understand where someone like McConnell is coming from. Mitch is all about wielding power and staying in office. Policies be damned. He's outlasted how many presidents? He's no fool and has calculated that he's probably going to get his way with Trump more than he could with Clinton.

Default Mitch McConnell just made a devastating admission about Trump — and the GOP

It seems Trump has a lot to learn when it comes to politicking.

But McConnell’s quotes are actually more illuminating for what they tell us about today’s GOP, and about the true nature of the decision by many Republicans to support Trump in spite of his bigotry, pathologically abusive tendencies, and temperament that’s dangerously unfit for the job. Here’s what McConnell said:

“He needs someone highly experienced and very knowledgeable because it’s pretty obvious he doesn’t know a lot about the issues,” McConnell said. “You see that in the debates in which he’s participated. It’s why I have argued to him publicly and privately that he ought to use a script more often — there is nothing wrong with having prepared texts."
