That is how it seems to go with Trump and his devoted followers. You can be considered a shining beacon of light until you reach that point where you don't shower him with adulation. Then you are roadkill.

Corker has a lot of entrenched supporter from his corporate ties and mayor of Chattanooga. I don't know if there has been any credible primary challenger, but it's hard to oust an incumbent like that.

So that's another potential VP struck off the list. Another once somewhat close ally to Trump now is deserting him.

Trump has 5 weeks to save his campaign or I suspect the Republicans will refuse to nominate him at the convention. He has no money and no support within the party and his poll numbers are sinking, and he's wrecking the Republicans image.

What I don't get about some Trump supporters who have repeatedly said their MAIN GOAL in electing Trump in the first place was not necessarily to elect Trump as president, but to DESTROY the Republican party, or the "GOPe", or at least to send them a message.

But why would the Republican party want to nominate a candidate who's sole purpose by his own voters to see them destroyed? They certainly need to give that some thought.

He's got small number of weeks to turn this round or he is doomed.
He is anything other than the lovable baby Republican but could you explain how he will not get the nomination? You realize that is as unlikely as saying Sanders will throw Clinton out?

I doubt he would choose someone from the exact same region, nor someone who differs from him on issues like immigration. I look for Christie to be his pick for AG if Trump can win.

If Trump wasn't nominated at this point, the GOP is done anyway, so it is a delusion. Ah, but let me have my delusion about Sanders throwing Clinton out.

I think Christie for AG also. I was impressed by his knowledge in the debates.

I tend to believe that Trump will get strong guidance from the GOP on choosing a VP and for that, they will drum up support for him and the party will move forward to defeat the enemy and known liability Clinton IF, I must say "IF" she is the nominee. Everyone is entitled to their dream!

Gosh, though I have been "discouraged" before but did not abandon ship just because I felt "discouraged".

Still voting for Trump!

Why didn't he say something when Cruz was still in the race or another more viable, more mentally stable, more presidential candidate was in the running?
Because, its the PEOPLE who want Trump in office. No one gives dam what the out of touch, millionare senators and house members want. Corker needs to put a cork in it and get behind the PEOPLES CHOICE FOR PRESIDENT

You should revise your comments to state SOME peoples choice for president because most of us are with Hillary. After nancy Reagan's endorsement of HC today I guess she is no longer one of your peeps?

It has to be Ivanka. There is nobody else left. He probably would prefer someone hot be on his ticket anyhow--even if it is daughter.
