Clinton doesn't even care what that looks like. She's been attached to so many things that have raised eyebrows she couldn't care less how she's perceived.

Her position as Chairperson wasn't a paid position. No one on the Committee's Board of Directors is paid. They are all volunteers. The Chair is selected by the President, the official leader of the party, and the Directors are decided by delegate vote.

Debbie won't get a dime from anyone now. former Chairmen have been snapped up by the private corporate world or by the private lobbies and special interest groups, but Debbie is so toxic that its doubtful her inept leadership will attract lots of offers for her.

If she's not re-elected to her House seat, she will just go back to private life like they all do when their days in Congress are over. Hillary isn't going to give her the time of day, so considering the possibility of a fat paycheck for Debbie is ludicrous.
