That's right. the Clinton campaign has 32x as much cash on hand as the Trump campaign. Four years ago in May, $3.1 million was 2-3 days work for Mitt Romney. It took Trump an entire month to raise that amount - mostly because he has no campaign infrastructure, has no idea what he's doing, and is surrounded by 'talent' that has no idea what it's doing.
This is all primary cash. Candidates cannot spend money raised for the general election until they are nominated. This means Clinton is going to hammer Trump until late July, while Trump stays mostly dark. And there's no sign that Trump is going to make structural changes to his flailing campaign that will close this gaping financial chasm between himself and Clinton by then.
Trump runs his campaign about as well as he runs his businesses (which are designed to make him wealthy no matter how spectacularly they fail, and no matter how many investors and contractors are left holding the bag).
PS:
According to May filings, the Ben Carson campaign currently has $1.7 million in cash on hand. In other words, Ben flippin' Carson - who won 4/10ths of 1% of the primary vote, who dropped out three and a half months ago, who never won more than 11% of the votes in any primary, who never finished better than 3rd place in any primary, and who never even won a single county in the country (he did win one census area in Alaska) - has more cash on hand that the presumptive Republican nominee.

But, but, but Trump doesn't NEED to raise cash remember? He's "self-funding". Problem is, he's a notorious tight-wad with his own money.
I don't care how much money she raises, I still won't vote for her. Maybe Americans should think more about the state of the country than they do how much money she raises and then we might get a president that is not in the pockets of the major companies. I am not listening to her smear campaign.
We just went through a primary where three people were running for congress. Which one did I vote for. The one that had the fewest adds and telephone calls. I figured he was the most qualified.
I'm starting to think Trump isn't even rich enough to own his Manhattan apartment. I bet he gets to live there rent free as part of an agreement to use his name/brand.
