First and foremost I look for someone who has never targeted old people on limited incomes and single moms with hungry children with a sleazy get-rich-quick scheme that encourages them to max out their credit cards to pay "tuition." After that, I look for someone who has a basic understanding of world events and trends.

So you'll be voting Republican. Good choice.

Pro environment, wanting to reform the criminal justice system, wanting to reform healthcare, and against abortion can't tell women what to do with their reproductive rights. Some other stuff legalize marijuana, put term limits on welfare, tariffs on trade, term limits in senators, keep Church and State seperate, improve mental health care in the US, and work on ending homelessness. Regulate banks and fix immigration issues in the US. End Sanctuary cities. Work with the UN and support small clandestine battles. Support the 2nd Ammendment. Support LGBT rights. Support equal pay. Free community college and privitize social security.

Only policy matters to me and Mrs. Clinton's policies are anathema to everything I believe.
Trump's policy is a bit hard to define, but I know where Mrs. Clinton stands and I'm willing to give Trump a shot.

Someone can have a very good understanding of world events and trends but choose to do bad things for selfish purposes. In fact, the better their understanding, the better they can serve themselves.

If one didn't know Iraq had oil, one may well not have invaded it.
