In watching the way that he runs his campaign, its scary to think that this man is a heartbeat away from the White House. Just terrifying.

Money is surly not a motive for seeking the Office of President. The man could retire now and let his kids run the business and he could play golf in Florida & Scotland at his leisure.

I knew the haters couldn't wait more than a few minutes to chime in. I guess they didn't read the title of this thread which asks Trump supporters, NOT Trump haters their opinion. You haters just can't help yourselves.

Trump says that if he loses the General Election than the whole campaign was a waste of time.

That bothers me. Does it bother any of you?

I feel that if he was more sincere about supporting his issues he might have a more optimistic take on it like: "Well I hope I am waking up people on both sides of the aisle and that congress may act on some of these issues I've brought to the forefront or the next president in 2020."

Perhaps he has a lot of skin in the game too. He went from someone that was popular to someone that causes riots when he shows up to deliver a speech.

Trump Says Anything Short of Victory Is a 'Waste of Time'
Because he is right. This is not a typical election in any way. The stakes are so high for this country, that a loss by Trump is a huge failure for the entire country, even for the ones who mock and insult Trump and anything to do with Trump. While they are yukking it up, some of us are serious about turning this country back around and finding prosperity again - for everyone.

And Trump does have a lot of skin in the game despite the desperate bleatings of those who support Hillary. Clearly Trump takes this seriously and clearly he does want to be the POTUS. You don't disrupt your life like that to run on a whim. Trump stands to lose a lot, and he has had people attack him at every angle. Why would someone who is already successful even need to bother with all of that? It's not about his ego, and if you listen to what he's said over the past 20+ years, it's the same. I truly believe that he cares about this country and he thinks he can do a better job than what has been done by others - especially in the last 8 years.

If we have a third Obama term, which is what Hillary will be, this country is completely screwed - so yes, it will have all been a huge waste of time. Hillary overthrew Quadafi, now we have ISIS killing our people and our allies. Hillary cannot be trusted with anything classified. Hillary shrugs her shoulders at the death of Americans, and then went on to lie to the entire nation, and specifically the families of those killed, because according to her, what difference, at this point, does it make. She may not have been brought up on charges that she deserves, but those facts remain facts. They are undeniable as they have all been proven - even the most die hard progressive cannot deny the absolute facts about Hillary listed above. This country cannot afford Hillary running the place.

I'd rather take someone who says insulting things than someone who doesn't care about the lives of Americans. I'd rather take someone who speaks off the cuff - even if he has to sometimes make corrections - because it shows he is genuine, not a phony, than someone who scrutinizes every word in her speech that have double meanings and hidden meanings. I'd rather take someone who has big ideas than someone who wants to make everyone dependent on the government.

What's the worst people have come up with about Trump? You've seen all of the threads. They complain about how "insulting" he is...but then mock and bash him using playground language. They complain about "orange skin" and "toupees". They try to pull up anything from 2-3 decades ago when their own candidate has problems right now, in the present...HUGE problems. More than one. Several. None of which are excusable. I'll take loud and boisterous over someone who really should be sitting behind bars and would be were she anyone but a Clinton. Imagine that: A criminal running the country. Yes, if Trump loses, it absolutely would be a giant waste of time.

Soooo Trump somehow forces those Leftist hippies to throw bricks, burn the American flag, destroy property and physically assault people?

How, pre tell, does Trump "cause" people to do this? All he does is show up to exercise his freedom of speech, which he has every right to do.

How does it become Trump's fault? Just because the deviants outside can't handle freedom of speech, somehow he bears responsibility for that? If I read one of your posts that really upset me, and I go out and assault someone over it, is that your fault or am I a nut?

Seriously question, why are you even CONSIDERING voting for Trump?? I agree with you that both Trump and Hillary have a number of significant flaws. No question about that. But Trump is a NUTCASE DOUCHEBAG who loves to call people liars, yet he is ONE MASSIVE LIAR AND A HYPOCRITE HIMSELF.

He claims to be 'a man for the people' yet look at his history:

- He and the GOP want to get rid of the EPA, you know the agency who's job is to protect the enviroment and people from pollution and all that bad stuff? Why do you think they want it gone? Maybe because it would be easier for big businesses to get their projects approved and be able to pollute as much as they want without any regard to the enviroment or regular folks who might be affected by those companies?

- Trump loves eminent domain, or the expropiation of private lands for other uses. Read the story about Vera Coking an elderly woman that lived in a house for decades but which Trump wanted to buy from her so that he could built a casino/hotel project. When she refused Trump got the local government to try and kick her out of her home:

https://www.theguardian.com/commenti...st-widow-house

Funny enough that casino/hotel resort that he built ended up closing in 2014.

- The GOP wants to get rid of FEMA. Yeah the agency who's purpose is to help mostly regular people after a disaster. If Trump is 'for the people' you'd think he'd be in favor of such an agency don't you think?

- On the other hand he and the GOP want to expand our already massive miltary and who do you think that benefits? Defense companies because they sure as hell don't benefit the average American. We have miltary coming OUT OF OUR BUTTS and yet we STILL need more?? >_>

- Trump and the GOP want to cut taxes. That's their solution to EVERYTHING and anyone with half a brain knows that any kind of tax cuts is 100% going to benefit the rich FAR MORE than the rest of us.

Seriously I don't know how anyone who isn't wealthy can look at HIS history and think that he's for the common person and not the candidate that the rich and big businesses would love. Yes you can look at Hillary's record and I'm sure people will find things to dislike about her as well, but at least she is SANE AND REASONABLE and isn't above apoligising unlike Trump who's an egotistical, self-centered douchebag who will NEVER admit to any wrong no matter how blatent and obvious it is even with the most minor of things like Melania's speech. And also I don't know about you, but I sure as hell don't want someone as unstable, as messed up and as insane as Trump who can't stop talking about how AWESOMELY HUGE America's penis is and how he won't hesitate to show it to the world to be representing us on the world stage.

i completely agree with Trump. It makes sense if you remember his background. He's a DO'ER. If he spends 6 months trying to get permits for a new project and fails, it was a waste of time. If he builds a new golf course and it gets panned by the pro's, it was a waste of time. For successful people, failure is a waste of time.

As for you Trump haters who chimed in above, please remember. Our alternative is to vote for the most corrupt person ever to run for President. I'll take my chances with Trump.

Scott Baio and Antonio Sabato Jr would not agree.
