We all know the Donald loves to use numbers to make his arguments. Last nights acceptance speech was the classic example of that old adage:"Figures don't lie, but liars do figure." But this thread isn't a rehash of fact checking stats, but an open look at a simply staggering figure.

Last night, trump drew a respectable 32.2 million viewers for his coronation. That gives him bragging rights over 2012 candidate Mitch Romney (who was like watching paint dry). But here's where the real kick in the ass comes.

The war hero the dumpster blasted for being a loser because he was captured, John McCain in 2008 and drew an audience of 38.9 million viewers. 6.7 million more than the dumpster. When i saw this, i was stunned, so you can imagine how the Donald feels given his concerns over whose is bigger.

Clearly John's makes trump pale in comparison.

I can list a dozen sources for those of you who want to blame the left leaning media, but for convenience sake, here's just one of the many. Vox The Latest.

Sadly, I think John McCain even has bigger hands.

So you mean that people are spending more time on the internet these days than watching TV, tell us more.

The funny (sad?) thing is Vox has a link to stream the RNC online which doesn't count for TV ratings, yet they completely fail to account for internet streaming in their article.
