There are MANY stories about him helping others; he just doesn't seek publicity for it the way others do.

Last story I read, he had to be shamed into giving veterans the funds that had been raised for them at at event held at the same time as a primary debate.
Only other story I've read about his charitable donations, is that he occasionally donates a round of golf at one of his golf course.
So where are these many stories about him helping others. Other than young models, of course.
Hoping we don't wake up on Nov. 9 feeling like those Brexit voters who are discovering they were taken in by ridiculous promises that their leaders are already backing away from, that their votes "against the establishment" are bringing down serious, long-term consequences for their nation.
Not so fast - the Brexit vote is working well for Switzerland and could work out well for the UK.
There is no question that the UK voted against the Status Quo and took a chance to control their own Nation again - "no pain, no gain" - Life is all about timing and taking action when necessary.
Does the USA want 4-8 more years of the Status Quo with it's Riots, Terror Attacks, Corruption and loss of Law & Order ..... or do we take a chance and kick the Elite Establishment to the curb? It's a time for choosing.
Global terrorism is one of the hot buttons of this campaign. Seems the masses expect the US to " do something". The masses rejected candidates more disposed towards no more wars in favor of nominees in both parties who seem inclined to engage.
I'm surprised that Panetta's speech has not gathered more attention in the aftermath.
Panetta has been very critical of Obama's leadership as it relates to foreign policy. He has been a frequent guest on Fox News.
And yet he came out loud and clear opposed to Trump due to lack of his interest, experience and temperament and strongly supporting Hillary.

Perhaps you "didn't see it coming" because you only associate Panetta with Obama. A Democrat, Panetta was a member of the United States House of Representatives from 1977 to 1993, served as Director of the Office of Management and Budget from 1993 to 1994, and as President Bill Clinton's Chief of Staff from 1994 to 1997.
Leon Panetta was a Big Dog in the Clinton White House -- his real allegiance has ALWAYS been with the Clintons. It's probably the main reason he tapped danced all over Benghazi to protect the Presumptive Queen.
And, in today's installment of stupid faux outrage, someone from the NC GOP tweeted condemnation of Tim Kaine for wearing a pin representing the flag of Honduras (!) instead of an American flag pin on his lapel during his speech.
Problem was, he wasn't wearing a pin representing the flag of Honduras.
He was wearing a Blue Star family pin for his son who just deployed to Eastern Europe.

Why has the Dem convention been a failure for Clinton?
Hillary has gotten no bumps in her national polling numbers since the convention began. The latest PollTracker average of recent polls updated 2 hours ago show Trump 44% and Hillary 43.9 so they are virtually tied even after 3 days of democrats praising her.
What is going wrong? How can Hillary make up for a zero bump after the convention? Did Bernie voters totally abandon her? Is Johnson taking away more votes from her than expected?
Polls aren't done in a day; any recent poll is mostly from before the convention. And the convention isn't over yet.
