Liz Warren said that Trump said he wanted to do away with minimum wage. She lied
In the May 8 Meet the Press interview, Trump said, "I have seen what's going on. And I don't know how people make it on $7.25 an hour. Now, with that being said, I would like to see an increase of some magnitude. But I'd rather leave it to the states. Let the states decide."
This would be a good thing. All min wage laws do is outlaw jobs.
Hmmm. Maybe we should let the states decide so Mississippi and Alabama can do away with the minimum wage all together and continue down the path to nowhere. There is a reason why these places look borderline third world. Last in infrastructure, last in per capita income, last in education, last in healthcare, last in GDP. Yeah, low wages obviously work.
