Oh MAN! Why did they have the roll call of states so early??? I only got home in time to see Wisconsin and Wyoming and Vermont and Bernie. I LOVE the roll call - it's the most fun part of the convention.
Oh, and - I want one of those donkey hats!
Oh, and - I guess we're in for another evening of the ugly minded, ugly hearted Trump supporters spreading their hate on this forum. Sigh. Don't you people realize that your nastiness just makes those of us who are good hearted and happy dislike what Trump has done to America even more than ever?
I grew up loving watching political conventions on TV - doesn't matter which political party, it's so heartening to see so many people so passionate about participating in the political process.
The irony of it all! Showman and reality star Trump wanted to put on a new kind of convention that brought entertainment to politics. He failed miserably when sponsors pulled out, speakers went into hiding, and he ended up with his own wife and kids being about the only speakers of note. Now comes the Democrats, with celebrities, speakers that knock it out of the park, a brisk pace that keeps one in front of the TV (and awake). Where the Trumpfest was a borefest, watching the Dems is like seeing a well run academy award show.
