The media is complicit largely with a centrist perspective. No one is trying to instill communism, but no one is also trying to send black people to the back of the bus again or make America "white again." I don't think it's so much the media that's the problem; it's that conservatives are further and further out of touch with the times.
Your problem is just that you're trying desperately to live like the world was 100 years back in the past, and that's just not going to happen. We live in the now, and we move forward. You may even win this election, but globalism is not going away; multiculturalism is not going away; and basic rights for people of various races, creeds, and backgrounds are not going away. It's not going to be a white males only kind of world anymore. Neither is government involvement in society or business, but that was never the case and besides, Trump wants it anyway - what do you think a tariff is? It's a government-imposed tax that redistributes wealth.
