Imagine the audacity!
A GOP Senator endorsing the GOP presidential candidate?
Well he did and it was clearly a big mistake according to a recent poll.
Ohio voters were asked, does Portman's endorsement make you less likely to vote for him?
52% of 920 voters polled said yes.
More importantly 24% of Republican voters said yes.

Okay Trump spinners, explain why this is a good thing for the GOP and how the GOP will retain the Congress?

It will be very interesting ( as this one example suggests) just how many incumbent Sen. and House representatives who endorse Trump are affected! Then I would also love to figure it out in the end of campaigning..Just how MANY of them actually partner up with Trump while on the trail??
History suggest..when ever an incumbent campaigns for re-election for whatever part..and distances themselves from "TOP OF THE TICKET" ..it never worked out ever.
Incumbent Congressional reps also do NOT have the "Coffers" raised for their campaigns like normal either. Tho, I did read Koch Bros. and Murdoch are actively trying to raise $$ for down ballot incumbents...BUT NOT TRUMP....
It appears the Trumpster is going to campaign via twitter..and media exposure (free) alone..His budget is not very robust..and won't even mention his ground game ( Get out the vote) ability???
The GOP side of things I read about..The more I am getting DT/Pence ticket is Not helpful one bit...then by expansion..Trump/Pence Ticket will force questions of each and every GOP House/Senate member running will be grilled constantly of their reaction/opinion of what words come out of Trumps mouth. Pence not so much..because he stays on script..tho so far..hasn't raised campaign above the "DOOM and Gloom" American life yet
