Pollster shows a rolling average of national polls.

This morning it shows "Clinton +4.6" with Clinton ahead with an average 4.6% lead over Trump (Clinton 46.8% vs Trump 42.2%)

What is your prediction of the spread at this time next week? (morning of Monday August 8th)

Depends on the legs of the ongoing Khan story, if he avoids controversy (difficult for him) he should be down no worse than today.

If he keeps his discipline for a few weeks the polls will begin to tighten like they did in mid july.

A lot of "ifs" there though.

Anyone who votes that they think Trump will be in the lead should never be taken seriously again.

Seems Clinton exceeding expectations.
An average of the latest polls has Hillary leading by +7, up from 4.6 on Monday.

A week ago Hillary was up by +4.6%.
Today, exactly a week later, she is up by +7.3%, at the top of C-D poster's predictions.

katzpaw, your poll last week indicated that most - by a 5 to 1 margin - predicted that Hillary would be ahead by a significant margin over Donald. I think most Americans have made up their minds and know in their hearts how this election will play out.
