In order for Trump to pass legislation he claims he'll need to pass in order to make America great again, he'll need a republican majority in Congress. Do you think he realizes there are 34 senate seats, and 435 house seats up for grabs in November?

It's hard to tell who Trump dislikes more - Democrats or Republicans.

Gotta start somewhere.

HRC isn't going to do a damn thing to fix the problems in this country. People who believe she will are the same people who voted for Obama the last two terms and have their head in the sand.

Sadly, I am at a point where I firmly believe that a majority of Americans are not even interested in seeing the issues in this country get solved.

Majority? IDK if it's a majority, but when only slightly more than half the voting population casts their votes, it lends credence to your argument. If the people don't care enough for a democracy to make it their own, the oligarchs do.

Just read through the number of investors he has screwed over and you can see that Trump only cares about Trump.

its actually easy, the people who dislike him the most are the ones on the take and corrupt and don't want to lose 'what they have'.

One thing that Trump absolutely does not get is that he, and he alone, does not get to make decisions all by himself. We have (thankfully) a system of checks and balances where his decisions need to pass the approval of not only his own party but the Democrats too.

He may say HE is going to do this and change that, but it does not work like that, ask President Obama. At every turn, Obama was held back by the GOP from getting anything he wanted to do done. If Trump thinks he is going to bully the people he needs to pass his ideas, he has a rude awakening coming.

This isn't a Dictatorship, Donald, although you might think should be.

The only thing Trump gets is that he's Number One and his ego needs to be insatiably fed by the notion that he's "winning" at all costs. That's IT.

Yeah, but I was reading an article recently (in a reputable publication) that said that Congress has expanded the abilities of the president in the last 20 years due to Congressional gridlock. So presidents can do an awful lot with no checks and balances.

Obama hasn't totally taken advantage of this but a President Trump could -- and that's a problem.
