It makes it easy to see that the Establishment isn't backing Trump. Oh, surprise! I think most of us supporting Trump are doing so because he is not a part of that Establishment. We know the GOP elites wanted Bush, the dynasty candidate.

Not to mention, this is the 2nd or 3rd time this same subject has been brought up. The results will not change if it is continually regurgitated.

[quote=Mystery123;44976473]True but Trump as a president is no better than a monkey with keyboard.

Make that an UNSTABLE Monkey with a keyboard ! Even Dr. Drew, who takes the high road, last night hinted that he sees some Bipolar and Hyper something illness in Trump's behavior. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that.

On the above two comments, I also remember it about Obama in 2008. I also remember that Obama actually did have some experience with government via being a state legislator and a senator prior to becoming president. He also has a law degree so is familiar with the law and how the government runs. IMO it was silly of the right to paint him as "inexperienced" as he did have some experience, just not more than a decade.

On the flip, Trump has zero experience in public office or politics so he and Obama cannot be compared in regards to "inexperience" and if they are, one has to acknowledge that Trump has no experience and compared to Obama in 2008, Obama was WAY more experienced than Trump.

Honestly, I see many more of the Bernie crowd going over to Hillary Clinton. Last I read, about 90% of them are going to go ahead and vote for Clinton. I personally know a lot of independents and moderate Republicans who are not going to vote for Trump. They also don't like the libertarian candidate Johnson or Jill Stein. Some have said they will just skip voting for president all together and focus on our senate races and local elections this year.

My Bernie or bust folks IMO are ridiculous because a large amount of them are supporting Johnson. IMO socialistic Bernie is nothing like libertarian Johnson and they are nearly direct opposites of each other. So the extreme libs IMO are showing how uneducated they are IMO on political platforms. Luckily a majority of my Bernie or bust folks have said due to us living in a swing state that they will vote for Hillary Clinton because they don't want Trump to win our state.

I see a certain die hard crowd saying they are going to vote for this or that independent candidate. All they are doing is throwing their vote away. When did ANY independent make it into the White House ? When did any independent ever even make a dent in an election ? Never. (Ok, George Washington did , but that was in our infancy)

If Bernie supporters really want to get someone in the WH who is not the polar opposite of Bernie, and they respect what Bernie stands for, then the choice is obvious, it can not be Trump in that seat. A vote for an independent is a vote for Trump.

It won't be a throwaway vote if enough people vote for an independent candidate. There are alot of people who already hate Trump AND Clinton. Imagine how much power that is.

There is os much at stake this election and the ridiculous selfish self serving republicans don't see it.

If Hillary gets in it could be the end of the Republican party.
In the next 4 years chances are she will be appointing at least one possibly 2 Supreme Court justices. If she does that it is a guarantee that illegals aliens will get their amnesty and will get a vote. Imagine up to 20 million newly sworn democrats!
With the SC in her back pocket we can say goodbye to much of the liberties that the second amendment allows.
We will see hate groups like BLM grow bigger and more powerful while Hillary blames the police.

With Hillary I see the country being further divided and the turmoil continuing.

In 2008 a man with little experience but boy could he deliver a speech, won the WH. America took a chance on him casting aside a seasoned senator in a roll of the dice. Obama has his pros and cons. Hillary has nothing but cons as far as I can see. She should be a CON-vict.

With the GOP bailing on Trump they are actually voting for Hillary which is a vote against their own party and the future of America.

Richard Hanna, a three-term Republican, is the first Republican member of Congress to publicly declare he will vote for Clinton in November
