What if someone had treated Ivanka in the way Ailes allegedly behaved?

His reply was startling, even by Trumpian standards. “I would like to think she would find another career or find another company if that was the case,” he said.
He also thinks it's "sad" that women would make these allegations. Not apparently that harassment occurs, but that women would dare to speak out about it.

thinks it’s “very sad” that women at Fox News are “complaining” about being sexually harassed by former Fox chief Roger Ailes.

As allegations against his old friend piled up, Trump told NBC’s Chuck Todd on July 24 that, “Some of the women that are complaining, I know how much he's helped them…And when they write books….and say wonderful things about him….[N]ow, all of a sudden, they're saying these horrible things about him.”
Trump says he hopes Ivanka would quit if she got harassed: Kirsten Powers

How any woman could support this man is beyond me. I wonder if he thinks that he can harass a female head of state he doesn't agree with into quitting so he doesn't have to deal with her?

I do think in this case that he believes that... There is not much deep thought or concern about harassment and its consequences, or workplace justice from the kind of man who grades women on a scale of "disgusting pig" to "nice piece of azz."

I agree. In Trump's mind those women were simply fulfilling their main purpose in life, to be ogled and harassed by men like him, who will judge their value based solely on the criteria of how big their breasts are and how hot they are on a scale of one to 10. He probably can't figure out what all the fuss is about. Isn't that what women are for?

Any woman who votes for this pig needs psychotherapy.

Trump is absolutely correct, if they don't like what they are required to do to keep their job or get a promotion, find a new job.
One of these women complaining against Roger Aisles continued to work for him for 20 years and preformed every act he asked for. She and others were summoned and brought to his hotel in limousines, preformed for him and were returned home. They were well paid prostitutes who had other choices if they had chosen to do so. It didn't bother them until the story broke they they came foreword crying about it.
One said when she got older and lost some of her appeal, she recruited younger women for him. Wasn't that nice of her, to recruit other into the web of sin..
This isn't a case of Cosby drugging them, they were willing and eager to preform sex acts to get ahead. That makes them prostitutes. They could have quit and found a new place to work at any time, or if need be, a new profession where they wouldn't have to sacrifice their morals.
I don't excuse what Roger did, but they had a choice and chose to use their bodies to get ahead. I have no sympathy for them, and neither should anyone else...

And this is the problem here! At what point did this women decide filing a sexual harassment suit was warranted? Was it after she stopped receiving the perks that she had no problem "working" for?

This is a non-issue when held up in comparison to the Democratic nominee who even felt that a 12 year enticed her molester and that the woman is always guilty when an affair takes place.

Sadly, the truth is if on the job there is any discrimination or harassment, once reported, they will generally find a way to make someone's life miserable as the person is considered disloyal to the group. I don't need to be told about sexual harassment as I was in the military before the laws and know what it is and I also saw later what happened to people who made complaints.

Also, if you file charges, chances are if someone is cut, it will be you and that may very well follow you when you looking for a new position. Yeah, don't tell me that they aren't supposed to discuss such things outside the company.

The real world isn't like the one you read about.
