Top republican strategist?

You mean the one without a long term job prospect? That one?

If they are such a top person in their field then why didn't their pick for the nominee win?

If you are a top level GOP type of person and you think Trump will lose -- it makes sense to TOTALLY trash him and throw him under the bus. Make Trump the devil. The plague. Zika virus!

Doing this creates the possibility of salvaging the GOP and getting back to business as usual. Perhaps they can say to voters "see Trump lost now let's purge the system of this rebellion stuff". This increases the odds of someone like Jeb being the nominee in 2020. The way things are now, Jeb couldn't win national dog catcher.

This forum is getting so boring - just attack after attack and very little discussion at all.

And his strategist is someone we should take seriously?
Jeb is carrying the legacy of Ronald Reagan.

No matter how the election turns out, the establishment of the Republican party is done. They have no real future.

People are finally seeing that the only difference between the democrats and republicans is how they spell the name of their political party.

Now there is Hillary, a democrat putting Warren Buffet on stage to tell everyone how bad Trump is as a businessman. That from Warren who was found to be actively involved in fraud with one of his insurance companies and who has a huge investment in Johns Manville, make of asbestos which they sold even knowing it caused cancer and were found to be liable in court.

Yes, the democrats and republicans are one in the same.

The same one who said the bombs drop on the USSR in minutes?

Seems plenty of people forget what it took to end the cold war, the cold war the democrats are now trying to start all over again.

It took the Soviets not knowing what Reagan would do to get them to realize that their worst nightmare could become a reality.

"Donald Trump belittled a woman who gave birth to a son who died fighting for the United States. If anything, that reinforced my decision to become an independent voter," she said. "Every family who loses a loved one in service to our country or who has a family member who serves in the military should be honored, regardless of their political views. Vets and their family have more than earned the right to those views. Someone with the temperament to be president would understand and respect that....">>

Bradshaw says she will return to the Republican Party if it regains its sanity, but until then the sane choice is to oppose Trump:

<<Bradshaw said she sees voting against Trump as "the only real choice for reasonable, thoughtful Republicans to make."

"Our president must represent what is good about America -- a belief in opportunity for all -- regardless of race and gender and background -- to rise up and live the American dream," she said. "A president can't tear down Hispanics, or mock someone who is disabled, or use symbols in campaign literature that Jewish voters understandably find offensive. To continue to be the hope of the world, all Americans regardless of party affiliation have to reject him.">>
