A top Republican strategist has registered as an independent in protest of the Republicans nomination of Donald Trump.

<<....the GOP is "at a crossroads and have nominated a total narcissist -- a misogynist -- a bigot...."

Her decision comes amid controversy over Trump's criticism of the family of an Muslim-American soldier killed in action in Iraq in 2004. Bradshaw called that remark "despicable," saying it "made me sick to my stomach."

"Donald Trump belittled a woman who gave birth to a son who died fighting for the United States. If anything, that reinforced my decision to become an independent voter," she said. "Every family who loses a loved one in service to our country or who has a family member who serves in the military should be honored, regardless of their political views. Vets and their family have more than earned the right to those views. Someone with the temperament to be president would understand and respect that....">>

Bradshaw says she will return to the Republican Party if it regains its sanity, but until then the sane choice is to oppose Trump:

<<Bradshaw said she sees voting against Trump as "the only real choice for reasonable, thoughtful Republicans to make."

"Our president must represent what is good about America -- a belief in opportunity for all -- regardless of race and gender and background -- to rise up and live the American dream," she said. "A president can't tear down Hispanics, or mock someone who is disabled, or use symbols in campaign literature that Jewish voters understandably find offensive. To continue to be the hope of the world, all Americans regardless of party affiliation have to reject him.">>

Who gives a rats azz what some failed "strategist" for the Jeb Bush campaign has to say? She did a real bang up job for Jeb huh? Never got over 5% after the 3rd debate, and help spend over $100 million dollars on anti-Trump attack ads, and for what? Jeb dropped out in disgrace with nothing to show for it. And his strategist is someone we should take seriously?

This has all been debunked by a number of people in the news more than once now.
Regurgitating the same old lies again and again won't make them true. Hillary, is that you?

Most of the voters are focused on the issues and then you have those are sexist and following the other party because "it is time".

Too little, too late and too unrelated to anything that matters to be an issue.

Another Bush and Romney supporter RINO "leaving" the party....one can only hope that enough of these loser elites "leave." Looks like they're going to do what real Republicans always suspected they'd do: vote for Hillary Clinton.

That says it all.

And given that, he's still neck and neck with Hillary! How bad a candidate do you have to be for Donald Trump with all the controversial things he's done and said to be running neck and neck with you!?

It's almost as if Trump is trying to sabotage his own campaign and yet Hillary still can't pull ahead!

A top strategist who worked on a badly losing campaign? That's not top, that's bottom tier all the way.

Bradshaw was a real life, card-carrying, pro-life Republican.

That Trump supporters are willing to see such persons alienated from the Republican party explains Trump's inability to build to coalitions and why his election campaign likely is doomed.

It's becoming very clear that not only is this man woefully unfit to become president, he is also mentally unbalanced. That the Republicans agreed to support him, even as they rightly and strongly spoke out against him, shows that the entire Republican party is not fit to govern at any level.
