Clinton's platform is closer to the Republicans than Trump is. Trump can not win and could bow out to keep from losing the election.

So is this how they plan to control Trump should he get to the White House? By having "interventions" every week or so with his kids to try to rein him in?
Gingrich is a self-serving jerk, but he understands how the world works and knows what is at stake here. That he isn't leading the charge to remove Trump from the top of his beloved party's ticket is baffling and unconscionable.
Just the fact that this even needs to be talked about shows how unfit he is.
At this point any Republican not advocating to get him off the ticket, or at least disavowing him entirely, is a spineless coward who doesn't care what happens to the country.
That they couldn't clearly see this months ago is troubling.
The DNC and RNC both have procedures in place in the event of the loss of a Nominee for any reason. The details are different but basically the DNC and RNC committee members (not the delegates, just the committee members) are polled to choose a replacement.
That would work IF Trump dropped out before the states opened early and absentee voting. If he were to drop out after Columbus Day, that would cause complete election chaos for the GOP.

This has to be a joke right? The guy who was run out of congress, then made weak attempts at running for president, and the guy who lives and breathes 9/11 glory because it's all been downhill since then, who also made a weak attempt at running for president, are going to give The Apprentice an intervention on how to act normal so he can be president?
A nutbar who needs an intervention, and/or a minder to keep him under control for 3 months, has no business unconstrained in the White House.
