Scott free? He was impeached, he was disbarred for five years and forced to pay a $25,000 fine by the Arkansas Supreme Court, that isn't exactly scot free in my book.

Its gotta happen folks, laws apply to everyone.
Oh, no need to worry. The chickens will come home to roost. They always do.

For those who are trying to keep up, the presidential candidate with the next court date is, as luck would have it, Donald Trump.

"Judge Gonzalo Curiel on Tuesday instructed the GOP nominee to stand trial following the November election as part of the investigation into Trump University’s alleged violation of the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act."

Donald Trump has been involved in over 4,000 legal battles. As noted in article below, this number is a moving target.

New USA TODAY interactive database shows Trump lawsuits surpass 4,000

Seems he uses "litigation to distance himself from failing projects that relied on the Trump brand. And he uses the legal system to haggle over his property bills and contracts with vendors."

And right after the election, he will be up on RICO charges.

Can you believe it? We could actually elect a President who was awaiting trial on racketeering charges.

Is there any chance I've turned to the wrong channel and this an episode of Scandal? (And wouldn't it be great if John Goodman was playing Donald Trump?)

The plot thickens.

Nothing will happen to Clintons.

They are better than the rest of us. (That's the only explanation I can come up with)
