Obama said yesterday that he would end the war in Iraq. Reporters tried to tie him to this and his campaign said "That is a goal, not a policy."
Hahahahahaha!!! EVERYONE would like to end the war in Iraq! I'm sure, now, George Bush would like to end the war in Iraq.
What a joke!!
Actually you are wrong. Bush doesn't want to end the war in Iraq, first he doesn't know how and secondly he doesn't want to bother at the end of his term. McCain said that we can be in Iraq for 100 more years. Believe it or not, not everyone wants to end the war in Iraq. I believe that democratic party is more likely to end the war faster and I think that Obama will end the war faster then Clinton. Whether or not it will be a good thing is yet to be seen. By the way, it's not the first time in history that Iraq was invaded by other stronger powers. If I'm not mistaken, was it Germany was in Iraq for 30 years? We can be very well in Iraq for 30 years as well.
Q: My son is in college, my husband is in chemotherapy, and I have three family members in Iraq. How are you going to help my family?
A: Don't worry, I'll bring all combat troops out of Iraq by the end of 2009.
I guess he hasn't told his campaign staff about this yet!
I'm listening to Fox news. I can't find the exact story on the internet yet but I'm sure it will turn up since the reporters were talking about how "interesting" that statement was.
We're still a loooong way of from November so I'm guessing quite a bit more than that!
