It's sad that people would distort Michelle Obama's comment about pride, claiming that she said it's the first time that she is "proud" of our country.

Clearly that's not what she said.


It's the same kind of ridiculous grade school attack that brought us the assinine distortions of Obama's Reagan comments.


It's also the same kind of non-thinking that attacked Obama for using comments that are the same as is his friend and supporter.

These distortions have been debunked and rejected. Clearly last night's results demonstrate that these wingnut tactics will not be tolerated.

The great thing about this campaign is that it's really about Old School and New School politics. Old School politicians go around smearing the other candidate and spreading lies. Which I must say worked very well for many years. But the difference between now and then is George W. Bush. He was such a liar and deceiver that at this point in history Americans are gravitating as far away from those tactics as possible. I've said this before, it's not so much that people a gravitating towards Barack because he's a good "motivational speaker" but really we're just rejecting pretty much everything about Hillary (arrogant, dirty politician, loyalty to special interests groups).

However, you have to admit there have to be A LOT of people spending A LOT of time trying to find dirt on Barack. I think it's great that the best they can do is Plagarism and twist his wife's words. Sounds good to me, besides we're ignoring it all anyway. You want me to vote for Hillary, you're going to have to do MUCH better than that.
