cn|2 Pure Politics* - Paul says stopping Hillary Clinton is reason to vote for Donald Trump

Wow! He grew a set! Impressive. I hadn't heard from him since he dropped out...well his support is welcomed.

I think Paul would have been the best nominee, but maybe 2024 after Trump's two terms.

Paul is right, the country cannot allow corrupt politicians like the Clintons in the White House.

Paul panders WAY to much....I like his foreign policy but that's about it.

Paul is probably my favorite Republican. I respect his reasons for supporting Trump, even if I don't support Trump. Paul is a man of his word and that's respectable.

Paul is a influential leader in the GOP and he needs to stay influential there. If he was the GOP candidate I would support him.

Rand sold out when he supported Romney in 2012. He is nothing like his dad.

Rand understands how the political world works. Ron never accomplished anything besides being a cultural influence. I voted for Ron the last time he ran, I think in 2008? But, really, he got very little accomplished because he wouldn't compromise. Politicians who do not compromise are not good politicians. You can call it selling out, but Rand probably has a great chance of becoming president some day. He could run in 2028 and he would still be younger then Clinton or Trump.

Rand Paul AKA Mr 1% has zero charisma and he will never be president.

He supports Trump because he is a Senator from Kentucky. That's what politicians do, they do anything to win, even sell their souls to Trump which is worse than selling it to the devil. If your constituents love Trump you have to support him so you can win re-election, if Trump is unpopular among your constituents then remove your support and talk crap about Trump so you can also win re-election.

/end.

Then why is he voting for Trump?

He is at least upholding his words unlike so many others. I may not agree with him on Trump but at least he is showing his word is worth something unlike Cruz and Kasich.
