At least the American people are catching on. Media is becoming propaganda not news.
"Becoming"? It has BEEN for a long time.

Saying water is wet is more of an epiphany.

They are only conceding to the fact the press is our enemy because the cat has been let out of the bag this election cycle (thanks to social media).

Yes, this was in 2012 and it's only gotten worse since then. Caddell is a Democrat so you know how bad it is when the press is fawning all over Hillary and he says that is just wrong.

We don't have a free press anymore when they are determined to elect one side or the other and will lie and do anything possible to make it happen.

The media's liberal bias is backed up and supported by our complete educational system and by the entertainment industry.
it has overtaken our whole country in such a deeply rooted infiltrated way that true debate, truth in reporting, and real critical thinking have vanished.

The Media is no longer needed and they have been severely corrupted by closed mindedness toward any ideas that don't support their world views.

I refused to watch TV news. I read what interests me online, no politics. I told my spouse instead of muting the news, shut it off or change channels. The only way you can express your displeasure is lower their ratings.

I am tired of bias reporting (not journalism, because that died a long time ago), and the media brainwashing us and believing we are stupid.

How did this happen?

It would be great if we could go back to honesty again and let the people decide for themselves.

I cannot think of a time, one news outlet was not biased, one way or the other, but all clearly Establishment backed.

Not a peep.

Now, we have the media who think THEY are the stars, the 'oprah phenomenon' where the 'no name' intereviewer of famous people becomes more 'fascinating' than the superstar they're interviewing.

Look at these sports anchors for ESPN, they walk around like they're superstars and all they do is read sports scores from a teleprompter. Its a pretty amazing shift, its really coming down to newsmen and women thinking they're bigger than the story.

I think in the past news reporters didn't report the negative stuff of celebrities and politicians because there were decency and moral ideals to uphold. I think everyone knew that Kennedy had mistresses but it was hushed up because decent people didn't talk about that kind of stuff in the open. Today it would be front page news.

Today every reporter is looking for the big scoop, the Gotcha moment when famous people are at their worse.
They are digging deep on Trump for trash and have gone back decades to do so.
Hillary on the other hand has scandals from yesterday that they are doing their best to deflate and reduce the damage to her image. It is called spin control.

In the end the media is taking sides and doing so they have lost their credibility.

Sigh. The media companies, for the most part, are owned publicly through shareholders. The shares are owned by tons of institutional investors and thousands of individuals. You can bet that their political ideologies are all over the map. Clearly.

So does the Board of Directors decide who they like? "I like Trump", "I prefer Clinton". . . . "by show of hands, who think that we should tilt coverage in favor of Clinton?" Do you really think it works like that?

The media companies are run by executives, producers and personalities whose compensation is tied to the network's or show's ratings. As such, they would do whatever is necessary to maximize their ratings. And surely the shows' presenters have their own individual personal perspective.

The bottom line is that these companies care only about money (as dictated by state law under which they were formed - "maximizing shareholder value"), and you are a fool if you think they sit around the table looking to throw an election in a specific direction. You certainly would get higher post-election ratings if Trump is elected . . . . it would be a 24/7 combination of Reality TV (fake) and WWE (fake).
