After cheerfully claiming that it is her goal to put coal miners out of a job 2 months ago, this train wreck now backtracks and claims to want to help coal miners pensions

Quote:
Hillary Clinton released a statement on Thursday calling for the passage of the the bipartisan Miners Protection Act,
Quote:
Clinton expresses her support of the act saying that it will ensure that miners receive the benefits they have earned.
I'm guessing this is in response to the low polling numbers she is receiving from VA, WV, PA, and KY, coal producing states.

Way to go Hilly, Cant trust a GD thing you say. Its all about you...pathetic

Trump can flip flop three times in one sentence. Hillary ought to be allowed to do the same thing.

Who cares? Obviously this election isn't about flip flops.

No coal states will trust Hilary. The bigger issue is Clinton told thousands of miners they will no longer be employed.

Im sure she will claim those remarks were due to a "Short circuit".

This is not remotely a flip flop. Hillary acknowledged the reality that coal is a dying industry while saying she had programs in mind to bring those workers into more sustainable jobs. Better than the lies Donnie says - nothing he or any president can do to rewrite the decline of coal. [MOD CUT/flaming]

the ELECTION is about who can get the most votes, that's what wins, so yeah, both candidates are going to pander to as many people as possible, that's the best way to win, take all sides of an issue and get as many votes as possible.

what they SAY during this process isn't what they're necessarily going to do, if you want to know what the plans of both candidates are, you have to go on past performances...hillary has plenty of past performances as a government employee to fall back on, so we know what she's likely to do, i mean, she can change her stripes and become honest and put the american people first and shun her billionaire donors, but the odds of that happening aren't too good, Trump is a blank slate, he's not getting billions from big companies, he's a fresh piece of clay looking to be molded, trump is like a box of chocolates, some sweets and some nuts.

personally, give me the person who's a little wacky, but has his heart in the right place over the money grubbing boiler room hack who has proven time and time again that she's available to the highest bidder (or any bidder for that matter)

her bank accounts are full of cash off the backs of the american people...like a few have already said on here. no thanks, lets try someone new and different with different ideas for our future.

Are they flip-flops, or were they just lies? I find it hilarious that people support her based on what she says she believes and will do, how stupid are they? Major!

WATCH - Hillary 'Flip-Flop' Video Just Uncovered, Watch It Before It Is Taken Down!!

Hillary would say or do anything to promote Hillary and everyone else in her eyes can just go and, well, you know.

What hypocrisy. Trump flip-flopped on his immigration policy; his tax policy; abortion; Nuclear proliferation; The Iraq War; Torture; Gun control; -- and even Hillary Clinton, who he said was "a terrific woman" in the March 2012 Fox News interview and said that "she really works hard and I think she does a good job." Yet, Trump gets a pass for his flip-flops.

On the coal industry, that's an industry of the past that Trump is pandering to. There are now three times as many solar jobs as coal jobs. That's the future and Hillary is looking to the future.

There is no way she can do anything to influence coal country to vote for her now.

In WV she beat Obama. This time Sanders beat her. It was largely a protest vote against Clinton as opposed to support for Sanders but it all says the same thing.
