"Perception" is reality, to the individual.

When you can get many individuals to preceive the same thing, it becomes reality for the masses.

Some individuals will still perceive things differently, than the masses.

I used to look at the word "scientific" much differently than I do now.

These days, I perceive any statement that is preceded by the word "scientific", as pure leftist propaganda.

Comprehension is your key.

Resist the liberal temptation to read (twist) more into the statement than there is.

Notice that people's perception changes after the talking heads spin it or them. And Hillary Clinton has a lot of spinners, including the entire mainstream media.

**DRUDGE POLL** WHO WON THE SECOND PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE

That's a huge difference. I wonder why?
Drudge is a nice "poll" because you can vote as many times as you want. LOL

Because one was a scientific poll and the other was an internet poll.

Thank you for starting this thread.

I agree with a previous poster in that Trump fans like sound-bites and insults. Trump is better at middle-school insults. So, for those with a middle-school mentality, he won.

They care more about his saying negative things about Clinton than they do about anything else. If that's all you care about, he won.

For anyone who is more concerned about policy and a substantive debate, Clinton won.

Another thing to consider is that Trump did SO poorly in the 1st debate, that, as long as he showed improvement (which he certainly did!), it would be looked at as a win [by his base].

Statistics. Those that don't understand them will likely never understand, but there is MUCH that goes into making sure a poll is un-biased. I am sure there are better explanations, I just picked the first one that came up. But if you don't understand the fundamentals of statistics (if the letter "N" doesn't mean much to you), then you won't be convinced with a post on a discussion forum.

^It's also why there is ALWAYS a defined margin of error in a scientific poll....

CNN/ORC: Clinton (57%), Trump (34%)
POLITICO/Morning Consult: Clinton (42%), Trump (28%)

I found it amusing that, immediately after the first debate, an overwhelming number of Trump followers proclaimed Trump victory. Then, after the second debate, the same people said Trump lost the first debate but, man, he sure destroyed her in the second one! Wait, wut?

Sorry. Hey, there is one more debate. Moderated by Chris Wallace. He must be fair and balanced since he works for Fox News, right? What's that? Oh, he is a Democrat. Yikes.

"according to two scientific polls,"

So, you want to base what you "know" on CNN and Politico? Tee-hee-hee!

"You can fool some of the people ALL of the time"!
