I think Trump should run for Governor of a state. A state like Wes Virginia, Maine, Wyoming, even Iowa or OHIO. let him run it per his ideals as a test of how he would govern. Would his supporters move to his State ?

I have often said that Trump should have ran for Governor of New York in 2014. If he had won and turned around New York (lowering taxes, bringing in businesses, stemming the population exodus, etc) he would have been seen as a hero and could have cake walked into the White House in 2020.

Probably couldn't win in his home states. He would never live in any of the states he could win. Would have to fly home to the golden penthouse every night.

Agreed.

The man has pretty much no experience in politics, which is one of the many reasons people refuse to vote for him.

As a Democrat, all I can say to the Republican Party is ...

YES! PLEASE KEEP RUNNING DONALD TRUMP IN VARIOUS ELECTIONS! PLEASE!

The 2018 New York gubernatorial election? YES!

In 2020, as that Duck Dynasty guy's running mate in the Presidential election? YES!

PLEASE!

THANKS IN ADVANCE!

Yours truly,
A Democrat

So the plan is to promote Trump as governor of...someplace...since he's going to get creamed at the polls in November?

He's too old for any more political runs. Maybe he will start an eponymous political party.

Agreed. If Trump had brought some record of praiseworthy service in the public sector to the table instead of just bluster and promises, he might've been worth considering.

Only if he can make money off of it.

He and the mad dog from Breitbart will start their own TV channel, ABC--the Anger Broadcasting Network and rake in the revenues from his followers.
