I think the New York Times is leading Trump into a trap and it would be so entertaining. Trump sues them, they go to trial, the New York Times says they were simply reporting the news and starts putting multiple women on the stand while Trump endures slow and endless humiliation. Go ahead Trump, file a suit and let's go to discovery. Then the New York Times can sue Trump for legal costs.

and if he doesn't sue them then either he's admitting guilt or he looks like a p*ssy
Its about time... the damages should be in the billions considering a Presidential election has billions spent on winning... The lawsuit likely will be AFTER the election... I hear a lot of moronic talk about a lawsuit starting before November... they must not know how lawsuits like this work...
"If a plaintiff in a libel or slander action qualifies as a public figure, he or she must show that the libelous or slanderous conduct of the defendant was motivated out of actual malice as required in the case of new york times co. v. sullivan, 376 U.S. 254, 84 S.Ct. 710, 11 L.Ed.2d 686 (1964)."
The Court held that a public official suing for defamation must prove that the statement in question was made with actual malice. In this context, the phrase refers to knowledge or reckless lack of investigation, rather than its ordinary meaning of malicious intent. In his concurring opinion, Justice Black explained that "'[m]alice,' even as defined by the Court, is an elusive, abstract concept, hard to prove and hard to disprove. The requirement that malice be proved provides at best an evanescent protection for the right critically to discuss public affairs and certainly does not measure up to the sturdy safeguard embodied in the First Amendment."
If its an outright lie, it would probably qualify..

And when the New York Times puts all these women and the people they confided in after his groping, day after day after day, probably letters and emails sent with dates, more women come out of the woodwork, day after day, week after week, what then? The New York Times is simply reporting the news and Trump doesn't like it. It's why Trump banned The Washington Post when they refused to fawn all over him.

I am not arguing the merit... that is for the court decide which you also know ZERO about...
Maybe Nutty Don will show the Presidents real birth certificate when the lawsuit gets filed. Maybe the proof of Cruz's Dad being part of the Kennedy Assassination.

The threatening letter is political theater.
"Either his lawyer is bluffing, or Trump is out of his mind."
Exactly. And I can't believe Trump or at least maybe a sane person around him isn't warning him of this.
