"Ridiculous"? Seriously? Do you routinely walk 2.5 miles in those conditions I described? Or were you so quick to respond that you didn't bother to fully read the post? I'm guessing that you didn't do so. Instead, you made yourself look foolish once again.

So, in other words, you never walked 2.5 miles in such conditions.
Try doing such a walk while sober. Try walking along a road that has no shoulders while a steady stream of cars is right next to you. If you think that such a walk is easy, then you have never walked someplace where there aren't sidewalks. Even the healthiest, most sober people trip and fall in such conditions.
So, yeah, taking such a walk is a risk. However, you know nothing about that so you come into this thread and ridicule people.
