About the last thing I would want to be is a president but I would like to see a new party. The common sense party.

15% flat rate income tax. No outs or loopholes. Its fair.

Gives us money to pay off the debt, repair infrastructure, etc.

Give every country 1 month to decide, are you our friend or not. Everything is based on that answer. Trade, financial aid, military help, everything. We shouldn't be helping countries that hate us.

If a country asks for help in any way, check the list first.

If a country screws us, you go on the no help list.

Tax the hell out of most imported products.

Low corporate tax. That will give companies more money to hire more people, clean up their pollution messes, etc.

Give able bodied people on assistance 3 miles of roadway that they have to keep clean. If their area isn't kept up, no check that week.

legalize pot and tax the hell out of it.

Just a few things off the top of my head.

The chances of the (D)s and (R)s not banding together and viciously defending what they've come to consider their turf, the White House and Congress, are slim to none.

I say start an alt right party and let the republicans heal. It will sit them back for a bit, but it will marganilize the extremists and give us another real party. we need two viable parties for checks and balances. Without real changes, the future looks bleak for the GOP.

Yeah I've been saying that too. Call it the Independent Party or whatever - clearly the Trumpists have established their own turf. There are three distinct parties at this point. Nothing magical about 2.

There needs to be a waiting period and background checks for coming into this country

Banish semi automatic and automatic weapons all together. There is no real call for them. I'm not anti gun at all, no good comes from them.

Re legalize corporal punishment. When you were a kid and you screwed up, a good spanking made you think about doing it again.

If Trump wins in a landslide, that means people from both the Democrat and Republican parties voted for him. That could signal a time to create a new party from the ranks of both.

I could entertain the idea, depending on where Trump goes with his agenda, once elected.

^ this, the GOP needs to split. The "Optimistic Republicans" (Ryan, Rubio, Sasse, the Bush's, Kasich, etc) and the "Resentment Republicans" (Trump, Tom Cotton, Jan Brewer, Steve King, and the Alt-Right) are a world apart on virtually every issue other than opposing Obama or Hillary. Let the bigots go off and form their own party on the fringes and the Republicans can get back to being a mainstream center-right party that governs for the good of America and ALL Americans.
