Hillary is nowhere close to a Socialist, and DeBlasio is nowhere close to a Communist. You're just assigning crazy labels to politicians you don't like.

I voted for Hillary today. She's the only sane candidate. Stein and Johnson are wacky, Trump is scary as hell, Hillary is the only adult running, and is largely a continuation of Obama who has been pretty good. She isn't perfect, but she'll probably be an above-average President.

upstate and long island are quite red/purple compared to very blue NYC
Long Island and Upstate will vote for Hillary too. Yes, they aren't as Blue as NYC (nowhere is, except for maybe SF), but they're still bluer than the rest of the U.S. Westchester and Nassau and Rockland are pretty solid Dem at this point.

Rural upstate NY will generally vote for Trump, same as rural areas throughout the U.S. But the vast majority of people live in cities and suburbs, of course.

I'm confused; radical leftists are surprised that radical leftists are acting like radical leftists? A lot of fake indignation on the interwebs these days. Clinton Crime Syndicate paying $$$$$ for posters to post.

Oh it's possible. And completely predictable. Even before he got into politics he wasn't exactly beloved in NYC. He's always been super polarizing.
