I stood in a loooong line, a line that wrapped a block--I could have walked to the end of the line via a shortcut, but I first walked to the voting site, then proceeded to walk along to find the end of the line which seemed endless). It took me more than an hour from joining the line to walking out of the voting site. What about you?
I arrived and there was 1 voter in front of me. But I purposefully go at an off time. Was in line less then 30 seconds. Checked my ID, got my ballot, voted... Out the door in less then 5 minutes.
Wow. I voted yesterday, it took me 2 hours! I thnk there are probably about 30,000 people in my precinct. They had 12 voting booths and it still was 2 hours. My bro-in-law who went at 10am yesterday had to wait 40 minutes to vote, same precinct.
In and out in five minutes. I asked how the turnout was and was told I was #585, and that they had surpassed the 2012 total several hours earlier. I voted at about 3 p.m., so good turnout here in northern Illinois.

Same for me in rural Sw VA.
