It hasn't happened for the Democrats since the Roosevelt/Truman days over 60 years ago. The last time it happened for a Republican was almost 30 years ago. Did Democrats really think we would have a Democrat win for the third term in a row?

If Clinton somehow won, she would of likely serve just one term. That's my guess.

Thankfully we'll never find out.

no.

I didn't think Democrats could pull a third term. It's a trifecta, a unicorn. Very rare but not impossible. A two party system is a pendulum just by it's very nature. You can't stop the pendulum without stopping the clock.
But Hillary Rodham Clinton almost pulled it off. My hat's off to her.

Yes, but only because Trump is a flaming pile of garbage. I thought any other Republican could beat the Democrat. Turns out American voters have even lower standards than I thought.

Hmmm.

You cast dispersions against millions you have never met, dealt with, or know. This tells me the problem isn't with the millions that you castigate.

Trump will be your next President.

You're absolutely correct ... 60 million of those with lower standards voted for Clinton.
