Tell him to get over it

It wasn't a backlash to me, it was because the political parties have neglected portions of the country for too long. The electoral college was designed so the rural areas of the country have as much sway as the urban areas. Trump focused on both rural and urban. Clinton only focused on the urban areas during the campaign.

Look at Obama, when he campaigned in 2008, he went all over the country as well. Trump only mirrored Obama's strategy of large rallies and covering a lot of area.

I don't agree with Trump but I'm willing to give him a shot for at least knowing how to reach out to more voters. At worst, Trump wouldn't do worse to to the democrats than Obama did to the GOP. in 4 years, vote again

Too much focus on the minority. They got too much attention for the last 8 years. The majority pays the bills. We should be getting the bulk of the benefits of this country.

This is one of the problems. It was not ever about race for those who voted for Trump. Citizenship status? Yes. Their viewpoint on how citizens should respond to LEO? Yes. Whether or not they still have a right to their religious beliefs? Yes.

Trump supporters never saw any of these things in terms of race, the media and liberals did, and still do. People like Van Johnson, who was visibly shaken on election night, when he was supposed to be unbiased, and then coined this phrase, is a huge part of the problem. How about learning to listen? I would never had voted for Trump but I do understand why his voters did, and it has nothing to do with "Whitelash". If anything it was a response to being catorgized as a deplorable. Hillary came up with the term, but she was just giving voice to what those in her party, the elites, and the media thought.

If the left don't start with race they end with it. They love to divide.
The left has been quite vocal in telling white Americans that they are racist because they are white. White Americans can't change the skin they were born with any more that the AA can. Many supported civil rights and didn't see themselves as racist and spoke against it.

The issue advanced and more people of color advanced in position of power and income. Then the message changed. They weren't interested in the content of character anymore. They wanted a complete take over and the best way to do that is put white people in a no win situation and if they resisted they would throw out the racist charge and accusations. The no win situation is, if you are white you are a racists so you must stand aside and let us assume control.

We must elect the first black president. That didn't work out like they planed because he didn't do a dam thing to advance them. In fact they fell behind even more. Race didn't work so lets attack the white male by using gender. We need a women who hates white men as much as we do. Hillary to the rescue. Now that didn't work out.

What to do now. People on the street are trying to beat them into seeing their point of view. Don't vote Trump they say. But wait a minuet isn't that similar to what happened in slavery. White people are racist by their nature and the color of their skin so no one will come to their aid because no one wants to help a racist. The new master of color is the same as the old white master. Maybe it is time to return back to the words of MLK. Maybe content of character was the right message.
No they say, as they look to Islam for their next leader. Race isn't working so well. Gender was stopped before it got off the ground. Lets try religion and look to Islam. How effective will that be ? We will see.

I couldn't agree more. Racist people like Jones want to make everything about race when it isn't. Liberals don't get that or if they do, they still pretend that it's all about race. Clinton tried using the normal liberal tactic of dividing the American people, not just with race but with everything....The educated against the non educated, men against women, Gays and Lesbians against conservatives, the list goes on and on.
Thankfully, many Americans see through this ruse and have voted accordingly.

The democrats and their colluding media have lost all credibility, and all they have left is the race card.....
