...has been around for awhile, and practiced by liberals as much as conservatives. As Joshua Dixon reminds us:

Meanwhile, college professors proudly wore "Sarah Palin is a " (without the dashes) t-shirts in their classrooms, while entertainers publicly mocked her special needs child and wished -- to the applause of their liberal audiences -- that she would be gang-raped."

Not because she is a woman. Because she is a hateful person. That became obvious at her political rallies with its cries of 'lynch him' which she did not discourage at all, and if fact encouraged.

Unfortunately for your premise, I suspect that Sarah Palin and the Hildebeast were rejected by the electorate by different segments of the American voting public for different reasons.

The right woman for the job hasn't come along yet.

Nor does Hillary Clinton, though an incompetent rape-ennabler, deserve to be vulgarly addressed.

Mr. Dixon was simply pointing out the double standard at work.
