Obviously Liberals haven't thought through their message (or anything else) which is why Republicans control the House of Congress, Senate, President, Supreme Court (soon), and the overwhelming majority of state Governors and state Legislatures.

When you get down to it, most of the Liberal agenda is based on slogans 60's hippies had and taught the young and the young minds haven't thought them through or challenged them...but they will.
What? How can a logical person like someone who has proven through his words that he hates most people different than himself? I refuse to like an intolerant person.

You can strongly dislike someone and disapprove of their behavior - yet pray for them and love what is good in them, according to Judeo-Christian theology.

Not always easy to identify what is good in them, though...perhaps believers could pray for the unseen or undiscovered or unknown good, in such cases. One could also pray for greater enlightenment for such persons.

He said Obama was an illegal president. He said the system is rigged and the results of the election cannot be trusted and the electoral college is a sham.

He said it is smart not to pay taxes.

He insulted and degraded anyone who did not agree with him.

He threw people out of his rallies who did not conform to his thought. He laughed when his cult punched them, shoved them and threw them into the freezing cold without coats.

He called people doing their jobs sleazebags and banned them in his zeal to suppress the free press.

He showed no respect for our current president, our past president or for his opposition. He lied and lied and lied to get votes.

He complimented thug dictators who murder people.

So Donny--you sold me. I'm going to act just like you did. I will treat you the way you treated everyone else. You tried to deligitimize our POTUS (who twice won both the EC and the popular vote, btw) and you demeaned and insulted a former president by dredging up pathetic old women and exploiting them. You have convinced me you are not legitimate.

Thing is--I'm not as gracious, forgiving or as a good a person as Obama and Bill Clinton. Now I feel as you did. You are an illegitimate president who I will insult and laugh at, because imitation is the greatest form of flattery right? If you can't beat 'em, join 'em.

Still bitter, eh? Just can't get over it, eh?

We won.

So why are you conservatives spending so much time attacking liberals now that you won? This is like the Cubs winning the World Series, and instead of talking about what they plan to do next season or why their team won, they instead do nothing but talk about how the Cleveland Indians lost and why they are losers.

I remember when Obama won, I could care less what the conservatives were doing and saying. I was too happy he won and focusing on what he would be doing for our country and my future.
It's your own fault. Democrats have drawn attention to themselves by throwing the biggest national hissy fit and tantrum since the Civil War. It's hilarious, utterly juvenile and yet sad. Your national state of psychosis has unfolded like a tour through a mental institution. Not to mention the flaming hypocrisy of the whole thing.

Don't want the attention? Stop acting like schizophrenic 4th graders. Stop destroying property at protests. Shut down your infantile safe spaces and act like adults for once.

That would be a good start.

Well stated/framed. And reading "how to win friends and influence people" would be great reading material for many I would think.

Sorry, out of reps for you.

I think you really need to read this:

FWIW, Nobody in Portland is really "picking" on the protesters, they are disgusted with the small percentage of them that just want to cause mayhem and trouble.

Protest all you want, but when you start a "riot" and start breaking car windows at a Toyota dealership and start busting up commuter's vehicles and hurting people, expect that it will not be looked at favorably, no matter what political side you are on.

BTW, the riotous protests have dwindled away to almost nothing, but there are still small protests here and there.

Also, Portland Police learned their lessons very well during the Occupy protests, and they have identified and arrested several of the culprits that caused the problems.
The protesters saw that they were not anonymous and quieted down considerably.

Many of them weren't registered to vote, or did not vote, but they were still out there protesting.
If they felt so strongly about things, maybe they should have protested against Trump by voting for Hillary, instead of protesting after the fact when they were impotent to do anything .......

There were also a lot of high school age kids protesting that just wanted to be part of the "in - crowd" or something.

That's your right but that would include virtually every liberal...they are completely intolerant of anyone that doesn't agree with their opinions. Also, that invalidates the slogan love trumps hate.

Why would liberals or what ever they are called like or love Trump? After all America is polarized with two sort of different parties that are in fact very similar...The hard fascists to the right - and the NICE fascists to the left. BUT I guess it always has been a one party system in the great USA for some time now. They all complain with the Trump victory that democracy has suffered a severe death blow...I would surmise that this end to real democracy took place around 1776...

The part that worries me the most is that a system has formed where available candidates for election are limited to those selected - and who ever has the biggest backers and connections - gets to be the figurehead...and it depends on theatrical ability. What a weird situation ....where you have entertainers entertaining a nation from the highest stage in the world..

Nonsense. You're not "trying to understand" anything, and you know it. You're just trolling, but you don't have the intellectual honesty to admit it - so you hide behind this silly "oh, help me understand!" smokescreen.

"Love Trumps hate" was never anything more than a catchy bumpersticker, and everyone always knew it. The point of the slogan is that a worldview which is rooted more in love and acceptance for humanity in general is healthier, more mature, and more suited for a national leader than one that is based upon a hatred and hostility for anyone who is different or wants different things than you want.

This is a relatively simple concept, but - as is always the case when attempting to have a serious discussion with a Trumpling - it's difficult to tell whether you're simply pretending to be intellectually incapable of comprehending it, so that you can do that cutesy, coy thing you like to do, or if it genuinely is too complex for you to grasp. Doesn't really matter that much, though, because either way the response is pretty much the same - bottom line is that your cultmaster is such a despicable, revolting, loathsome puddle of skunk vomit that hating everything about the vile POS really is the only socially acceptable and emotionally healthy response to him.
