It didn't work in 2000 either.

When one candidate wins the raw vote count by more than 2 MILLION (as Hilly did), and the other guy 'wins' the election ... that's bush-league GARBAGE, in my view...

IMO the system will always be flawed due to the large amount of non voters every election.

Show me where the POTUS was ever intended to be elected by the people much less a majority of the population.

The system did because it is based on 50 states not popular vote. Saying that, this has only happened 5 times in US history. We only want what we cant have so to over react and call for an end to the electoral college or for California to succeed is just as absurd now as it was 4 years ago when liberals reacted to Texas' calls to leave the union. Its all reactionary butthurt BS.
