She did, but even team Trumps internal data supported his assessment that she would win those states. Still, it makes more sense to shore things up rather than play for a landslide.

Democrats have been too over confident the last few years because of the media. They continue to elect bad policy makers as their leaders. Nancy Pelosi is still the minority house leader tells you all about them.

In any country especially with a parliamentary system, the game is about keeping seats. The Democrats been steadily losing seats across the board since 2010.

They've done nothing for the middle class and allowed Republicans to overtake them.

Trump supporters are gloating so much it looks like they didn't think he was going to win either. Trump is probably the last person who I would call an astute student of political science. Hilary lost because third terms are extremely rare. Trump won because Barack Obama's decisive and historic win's put conservative voters and the GOP in such a tailspin that they thought they needed someone from out of left field to guide the party.

Trump voters have been feeding at the fake news trough for so long it has made it easy for him to convince them that he and them have accomplished something historic when in fact the only historic thing about this election is his loss of the popular vote.

Those who voted Trump got their wish. I don't want to hear any whining from them, or scape goating a year from now. He is their Lord and Master and can solve all problems in their eyes.

You really do not understand and will not try to understand. The tweeting is the modern day equivalent of sabre rattling, or Nikita Kruschev's shoe pounding. All about discomfiting the opposition, faints, chutzpah, intimidation even.

What, you'd prefer a bight red RESET button? Something else ineffectual?

Oh, look! Yet another clever excuse. Rules of the game. You play to win, according to the rules of the game. Anything else betrays foolishness, unsophistication and lack of understanding.

This is long term strategic politicking, don't you know. When Cali becomes six or more states, think of all of the electoral votes. The split coming by earthquake or politics, who cares. Crever politicians, dees dims.
