I realize that Hillary and Bernie were not the first choice for many Democrats during this election cycle. If you're a democrat, I would like to know who you wish would have gone up against Trump instead?

There was this guy, Jim Webb, one of the other candidates running in the Democratic primary this presidential election cycle. I, a life long Republican, would have happily voted for him over the two we got stuck with instead.

Sanders routinely beat Clinton and Trump in the polls. Sanders would not have lost Michigan or Wisconsin. Most likely not Pennsylvania.

I, as a Trump supporter/voter, would have entertained the idea of voting for Webb had he been the nominee and I was able to learn more about his stance. I would like to see a capable military veteran elected as POTUS.

Again, as a Trump supporter, I spent some time looking and listening to Sanders and would have been more than happy to weigh my vote based on debates between Trump and Sanders. The Dems reaped what they had sown by what they did to Sanders.

I would have voted for either Bernie or Hillary. Jim Webb should just join the Republican party.

Where did you hear this? I know in the northwest, Bernie was the preferred choice for the nomination during this election cycle. The Democrats made a huge Orange mistake when they didn't go for him.
