Polls don't lie and Hillary didn't lose. Putin hacked the results.
Polls obviously DO lie (especially when they're manufactured for a desired result). Hillary DID lose, and there is NO evidence that Putin, or Russia, "hacked" US election results. And Donald Trump will be the next POTUS. Time to put the big boy pants on and face reality.
Many missing Dems in the last election. They stayed home and it cost them dearly. Many of them were Bernie voters angry at the Dem party rigging the primaries.
More Trump voters were excited than Hillary voters. Had the Dems been half excited, the election would have gone the other way. PA, MI...
Don't get too excited. Clinton won the popular vote and the EC was lost based on 80,000 in three states.
You just won your first election in eight years.
That said, with respect to the initial question - no one knew if the good feelings of Obama voters would transfer to another person, Hillary Clinton.

It was apparently the people who were speaking not the politicians...because those very same people voted for Trump in the election *in addition to* electing Republican majorities at every level in the Senate, House, Governorship, State and local municipal level.

Every major Celebrity from Beyonce, to Lady Gaga, to Robert Dinero and a ton of others activly performing and literally elling people to vote for you....
AND
Every talk Show host, talk show forum, political comedian commentator...every day time show, along with every night time show telling you to vote for her, AND they openly telling everyone not to vote for Trump, all day every day on every channel......
AND as.....
Former Political titles as a US NY Senator and Secretary of State and a record spending 2.5 BILLION dollars (US currency) and....YET....
you still LOSE!
Clearly there is a split between what most Americans wanted and what the liberal elite wanted.
Simply put, they were just out of touch with America, and the results back that up.
I think it's a test to see how much the conservatives will mess things up. In 4 years time people won't be walking back to the liberals, they'll be running back to them.
