Because no one really likes him. His allegedly high favorables are brought to us by the same lying, treacherous libdem vermin that kept telling us that Hillary was going to win in a landslide, and anyone who believes them is an idiot, pure and simple.

Sure, his numbers are a bit propped up by people being afraid of being called a racist for not liking him, but basically they are entirely fictional and do not even have that justification.

Lets review yet again:

President: Republican
Supreme Court: Will be conservative for my lifetime
Senate: Republican and will remain so until 2020 due to a favorable cycle
House: Republican for 20 of the last 22 years.
Governorships: 33 of 50 Republican
State Legislatures: 66 of 99 Republican
Monopolies on State Government: Republican 24 to Dem 5

The rise of Trump on the right and Sanders on the left is a function of how horribly this country is actually doing beneath the bogus numbers. The Democratic party is falling apart. "The Democratic majority" does not exist, and will not exist, because the values of the party are garbage. Republicans are slowly but surely peeling of Asians and Hispanics. The dems are finished.

Why did Hillary lose even though supposed loved President Obama's policies and legacy were "on the ballot"?

The question answers itself.

Personal feeling kinda go by the wayside when you don't have a job, and the illegal who pays taxes gets work... or when your industry is targeted for bankruptcy... or when your kid in DC has to attend a crappy public school because your party did not listen to many parents who wanted school choice... or when you tell other countries we are lazy... I could go on...

how many times do we need to answer this question?

why did hillary lose? simple, she was a lousy candidate who felt entitled to the office of president. she failed to campaign in the four states that counted the most, and she lost them to trump. and last but not least, her only message was vote for me because trump is a jackass, and i am going to continue, and double down on, obama policies.

trump beat her because he at least had a positive message for the country, to make it great again, and because he went out and campaigned with energy.

clinton could not draw a crowd to dave her life, she needed big entertainment stars to get the crowds out, and even then when the stars left, so did the crowds. all trump had to do was show up and he drew large crowds.

Many missing Dems in the last election. They stayed home and it cost them dearly. Many of them were Bernie voters angry at the Dem party rigging the primaries.

More Trump voters were excited than Hillary voters. Had the Dems been half excited, the election would have gone the other way. PA, MI...

Because Hillary is not Obama. There's a reason why she lost to Obama in 2008, and why she lost to Trump in 2016.
