Russia got involved by leaking Clintons aides emails, and the DNC's emails. This was a major discussion point, and it damaged Clinton quite a bit. The race was decided by very narrow margins.

Additionally Russia financed and ran many propaganda campaigns. And did a impressive job online. I suspect we have some here (Hi guys!). Efforts on other discussion forums however were wildly sucessful.

The level of propaganda and misinformation has led to a mistrust of the media (some of which is warranted, but not to the degree its there). Which also helped Trumps sort of campaign.

Basically were it not for the Russians interference helping only one side-the other side would have won. Making the popular vote result all the more painful.

What will happen? President Trump will be sworn in on January 20th, to a even more divided country. That will be his legacy upon entering the presidency. From there? How it will read will depend on him, and I dont think anyone has a clue what its going to be like. Given the stuff I see now.....we're going to live in interesting times.

"How did the Russians give the election to Trump?"

They didn't. Hillary sucked more than Trump.

Ok, so let's boil this down.... Voting machines and what not were not tampered with, everyone agrees on that. And, the information that was released by the Russians was all true; no one has made the accusation that any of the released emails were fake or contained fabricated information....

So basically, Democrats are upset that the electorate saw the true statements of John Podesta, operatives in the DNC and others, and used those true statements, in part, to decide who to vote for....

Russia doesn't control our MSM who were in the tank for Hillary....or the 99% of the American newspapers who were also in the tank for Hillary and were hostile to Trump.......Russia doesn't control the money in our political elections and government that gave Hillary over 1.2 billion dollars for her campaign, a 4 to 1 advantage over Trump. Russia doesn't control Wall Street and the Banks who were in the tank for Hillary.

What propaganda and misinformation Russia ran during the campaign? give me evidence and your link......I didn't know Putin campaigned for Trump in the battleground states, I missed that one.

Hillary had all the advantages, money, the establishment on her bandwagon, the media and all the newspapers and she lost because at the end the American people didn't trust her and didn't want an Obama 3rd term.

Look at the trend, since Obama won, Democrats have lost lots of ground from the house, senate and the majority of the governorship and state legislatures (32 states to 18) and now the W.H. which was 30 states for Trump to 20 for Hillary.....but you say its because of the Russians? LMAO!!!

Trump's tape that was leaked to the media had by far negative effect than the Podesta's emails.

They didn't. But even if the leaked emails did sway enough voters to change the election, then what does that say? It says that the true statements made by Hillary Clinton and her staff in their emails caused people not to vote for her.

To Democrats, the "outrage" was not the things they said in the emails, the outrage is that they got caught.

True, and let's be honest, the corrupt media (proven through wikileaks) did WAY more to influence the election in favor of Hillary than the russians could have possibly done by leaking her emails. The negative coverage against Trump no doubt denied him the even bigger landslide he deserved.

This whole Russia thing is just smoke and mirrors to distract people from the corruption within the actual media networks themselves. Kind of like a a "hey look over there".

The media 100% colluded with the Clinton campaign team to take out Sanders and Trump. This is proven in the wiki leaks which exposed the media collusion and corruption (giving pre-debate questions, passing on questions to ask rival candidatea, devising narritives to paint on Sanders and Trump, etc). This is why the leaked info is getting no coverage while instead you hear nothing but Russia Russia Russia.

Sour grapes and grasping for straws.

Trump potentially contesting results=meltdown
Clinton actually contesting results=meltdown, but it's different because it's us
