First, let me say I am a registered independent and I vote for whomever I feel will do the best job. I have not yet decided who I will vote for president. I am one of the few truly independent thinkers & voters- I have no party affiliation whatsoever.

OK, enough chit chat.

Starting with the Ophra endorsement, Obama has been riding a virtual tidal wave of emotional support. He's chic, black, eloquent, muslim... everything a liberal could want. Very impressive on the outside.

However, he also has nothing of any substance to say and makes it very clear he's a man of pure rhetoric and there is no substance to him. He sent a top staffer to the Canadian consulate to inform him the tough NAFTA talk was pure BS and to ignore it, he has close dealings with a notorious man (trust me, where there's smoke, there's fire) and now some very dirty tricks in caucases in TX and other issues and his true character is coming out.

The wheels are clearly starting to fall off his band wagon.

That said, he has a comfortable lead in delegates. But his potential nomination appears to be steeped in a deep temporary emotional euphoria and not 'this is the best candidate' solid thinking.

I understand Hillary has a plethora of skeletons in her closet that makes her close to unelectable in a national general election, but Obama is starting to difinitively prove he's, at best, a paper tiger and this current wave of problems makes me wonder if Hillary isn't the best dem candidate for president.

I would have to say no. Hillary still needs about a 60-40 lead in any upcoming victories she has in order to get a majority of elected delegates. She also may not have won Texas, as 1/3 of the delegates are decided by a caucus there--which hasn't been tallied yet and which Obama is ahead in.

If Hillary carries Penn, I would call for Obama to step aside. She won early where it counted, withstood a deeply emotional barage, and is now winning again and where it counts.

Again, I'm neither a CLinton not Obama supporter- it just makes sense to me as one looking in from the outside.

He's either incredibly ill-informed, or else he's trolling.

Yeah, was going to say..... For someone so "impartial" he certainly seems to be buying the anti-Obama rhetoric.

Logic my boy..... Logic...... Are you suggesting that Clinton supporters in these states would vote McCain instead of Obama if Clinton were to not be the nominee???

I will DEFINATELY vote McCain if Obama gets the nomination. But, It doesn't appear that that is a concern anymore.
