Since Hillary has been a member of the protected class of people in this country all of her life, enjoying a life where she could follow her aspirations while being under the radar with no adversity, her becoming president is really not significant. Neither is McCain.
But for a black man to overcome a life of tremendous odds and adversity to become president, this is incredibly significant.
